Every journey here is a private trip, from a few days in the northern parks to a fortnight across Kenya and Tanzania, with routes up Kilimanjaro for those who want the summit.

Take one as it is, or use it as a starting point. Tell us your dates and what matters to you, and we will change the route, the pace and the camps to fit.

How booking works

  1. Tell us your dates

    Send an enquiry from any journey, or use the planner. Nothing is booked and nothing is paid at this stage.

  2. Get a written proposal

    We reply with a proposal for your group: the route day by day, the camps and the price.

  3. Confirm when you are ready

    Accept the proposal online. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid and every camp is held.

What every safari includes

  • Accommodation and meals as listed in the itinerary, with three meals a day on safari days
  • A private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof (up to six seats) and your driver-guide
  • Your guide team, with a contact number answered 24 hours a day
  • Government taxes and levies, and your departure transfer
  • Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover while you are on safari
  • Park and crater fees, and fees for village visits
  • Drinking water during the safari

Not included

  • International flights
  • Tips for guides and lodge staff
  • Visa fees and travel insurance
  • Drinks, alcoholic and soft, other than drinking water
  • Laundry
  • Personal spending such as souvenirs, phone calls and extras at lodges
  • Anything not listed in the itinerary
